1. The Service

Statuso is an uptime monitoring service. We periodically check your websites via HTTP and send you email alerts when something looks wrong. That's the core of what we do.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and let us know.

3. Acceptable Use

Please only use Statuso to monitor websites you own or have explicit permission to monitor. Don't use it to send excessive requests to sites you don't control or to probe systems without authorization. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the service.

4. No Warranties

Statuso is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime, perfect check accuracy, or uninterrupted email delivery. Uptime monitoring is a helpful safety net — it's not a substitute for your own infrastructure redundancy and backup plans.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Statuso is not liable for damages arising from missed alerts, inaccurate results, service downtime, or any other issue related to your use of the service. If something goes wrong with your site and we didn't catch it in time, we're genuinely sorry — but we're not responsible for downstream losses.

6. Your Data

We store the information you provide (URLs, email addresses, monitor settings) and the check results we collect. We don't sell your data. We use it solely to operate the service and, occasionally, to send you important notices about Statuso itself.

7. Cancellation

You can delete your account at any time. We'll remove your data promptly. If you're on a paid plan, cancelling stops future billing. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, but if something unusual happened, reach out — we're reasonable.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If anything significant changes, we'll let you know. Continuing to use Statuso after an update means you're comfortable with the revised terms.
